The 2026 North Atlanta GBP Sentiment Report asks what Google reviews reveal about the reputation patterns of local service businesses. The report analyzes 46,656 Google reviews across 60 businesses in auto repair, digital marketing, HVAC, pest control, plumbing, and roofing.
The analysis was conducted with GBP Review Insights, a proprietary sentiment analysis tool built by Make It Loud Digital Marketing. The tool organizes Google Business Profile reviews into sentiment patterns, recurring themes, improvement areas, and representative review signals.
The strongest cross-category finding is that communication problems appear more often than any other improvement area. Communication appeared as the primary improvement area for 24 of the 60 businesses reviewed, or 40% of the study set. Pricing transparency followed as the second most common gap, appearing for 20 businesses.
Plumbing ranked highest among the reviewed categories, with an average 4.72-star rating, 87% positive sentiment, and 4% negative sentiment. Auto repair ranked second. HVAC ranked lowest, largely because two high-volume companies in the selected sample had unusually high negative sentiment levels.
The digital marketing category had the lowest average review volume, with an average of 41 reviews across the selected agencies. The report treats that finding as a visibility and trust-building issue rather than a direct measure of service quality.
The report's practical conclusion is that star ratings alone are not enough to understand local service reputation. Customers repeatedly describe communication, pricing clarity, responsiveness, follow-through, and consistency as trust signals across multiple industries.
Make It Loud Digital Marketing served as the research partner and appears as a participant in the digital marketing category. The report discloses that Make It Loud's data is presented without adjustment.
